Jerry Pinkney is a children's books illustrator, he won so many awards on his magnificent works which I have just encountered. One of his most famous works is "The Lion & The Mouse" " which is written and illustrated by him, an admiring comment by him at the end of the book he said: "As a child I was inspired to see the majestic king of the jungle saved by the determination and hard work of a humble rodent; as an adult I've come to appreciate how both animals are equally large at heart: the courageous mouse and the lion who must rise above his beastly nature to set his small prey free." which made me more curious to purchase the book (I don't care if it's children's book, you can never be too old for this).
Atlanta's High Museum of Arts is having an Exhibition of Pinkney's work Started on October 12, 2013 to January 05, 2013.
